Claims Process
Understand every step from first call to settlement before you ever need it.
The five stages of a claim.
Every claim follows the same clear path. We keep you informed at every stage you never have to wonder what's happening.
Notification within 48 hours
Contact us as soon as reasonably possible. For most policies, claims must be notified within 48 hours of the incident. Emergency services (police, ambulance, fire brigade) should always be called first where applicable. We log the claim, confirm your cover, and send you a checklist of what we'll need.
Documentation we collect what the insurer needs
We guide you through the exact paperwork required: photographs, invoices, police report numbers, medical reports, proof of ownership. No guesswork, no back-and-forth emails we tell you exactly what's needed and help you prepare it.
Assessment independent and thorough
For most claims, an independent loss adjuster or assessor is appointed by the insurer. Where needed, we attend with you or on your behalf. We review their assessment to make sure nothing has been overlooked or undervalued.
Offer we review before you accept
The insurer makes a settlement offer. Before you accept, we check it line by line against your policy wording to confirm every eligible item has been accounted for. If we believe the offer is short, we challenge it on your behalf.
Settlement payment and closure
Once accepted, the insurer pays directly to your nominated bank account. We confirm payment, follow up if there are delays, and keep a copy of everything for your records. If you need any documentation later, we have it.
What we do for you at every stage.
Single point of contact
One claims advisor stays with you from notification to settlement. You don't explain your situation twice.
48-hour acknowledgement
We acknowledge every claim within 48 hours and give you a realistic timeline for what happens next.
Advocacy, not pass-through
We don't just forward your claim we argue for it. Insurers know we don't let things slide.
